Gravity Grand Prix 2021 - A Record Year

The Cherry Pickers of Cookham Dean were delighted to have been able to run the Gravity Grand Prix this year. Our thanks to all of our entrants, volunteers and local business for supporting the event.

Once again we have been able to provide a free family fun day out and by using local businesses for food and refreshments we are supporting the local community.

Overall the day has directly raised nearly £21,000 for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and other local good causes and has also created around £30,000 of food and drink trade for local businesses.

Chair of the organising team, Max Stevenson, said “A lot of people have given significant effort to get the 2021 event off the ground and we are very pleased with the result. We were blessed with fine weather and it was clear that local people were happy to be out and about again and supported us in large numbers. We look forward to planning next year’s event.”
